House front & back, make 2

Using the long tail cast on,  and yellow yarn cast on 26 sts.

Row 1: P

Row 2: K

Repeat row  1 and row 2 until you have 12 rows.

Change yarn with orange.

Row 13: P

Row 14: K

 Repeat row  13 and row 14 until you have 8 rows.

Change yarn with yellow.

Row 21: P

Row 22: K

Repeat row  21 and row 22 until you have 8 rows

Change yarn with orange.

Row 29: P

Row 30: K

 Repeat row  29 and row 30 until you have 8 rows.

Change yarn with yellow.

Row 37: P

Row 38: K

 Repeat row  37 and row 38 until you have 8 rows.

Change yarn with red

Row 45: P

Working in reverse stockinette, we are now going to decrease one st at each end of every row until 2 sts remain on the needle.

Row 46: K2tog, K till the end

 Repeat row 46 until 2 sts remain on the needle, cast off.

Door

Using beige yarn, cast on 10

Row 1: P

Row 2:K

Repeat row  1 and row 2 until you have 18 rows, cast off.

 Windows, make 2

Using beige yarn, cast on 8

Row 1: P

Row 2:K

Repeat row  1 and row 2 until you have 10 rows, cast off.

Sew some window frames using a darker brown yarn

To make up

Sew a door and windows onto the front of the house.

Using darker pink yarn, sew some flowers either side of the door, and add a small button to make the handle.

You are now ready to sew together the front and back panels (use a semaless stitch, like this one) and to stuff it with a bit of fiberfill.

Sew a little ribbon on the tip of the roof and your little house is ready to decorate door handles or to cheer any shelf.
