Round 1: Ch 3, (ch1, 2 dc in magic ring) x 5 times, ch1, dc in magic ring, sl st in the third ch at
the beginning of the round.
Round 2: Ch1, working in the next space (sc,hdc, 3dc, hdc, sc) x 6 times, sl st in ch at the beggining
of the round, ch1.
Round 3: Sc in same ch where the sl st has been done, (ch4, sc between two arcs of
previous round) x 5 times, ch4, sl st in ch at the beginning of the round.

You have just created 6 “4 ch” that seat above the flower creating a 3D effect.
We will go now to work on each of these arcs.
Round 4: Ch 1, working in the next space (Sc, hdc, 5dc, hdc, sc) x 6 times. Sl st in the ch at the beginning of the round.

Assembly:
To make these little friends, all you need is some yarn and an old white towel (perhaps one that’s past its best)! Otherwise, a cotton flannel is also a great choice (because they are all natural and have a very soft feel).
First, cut out 10-cm diameter circles: use an expresso cup or small bowl of roughly 10 cm and use it to trace a circle onto your fabric. Then cut using a pair of scissors.
Place your cut towel disc on the back of your crochet flower, filling the hallow space created by the 3D crochet ridge.
Sew the towel disc securely in place: to make a cleaner edge, fold back the edges of the towel disk before sewing.
Congratulations, your first makeup remover pad is ready! Make a bunch of them so you have plenty to hand!
Use these as mini washcloths to clean your face or in place of disposable cotton pads when removing makeup. The used discs can be collected in a mesh laundry bag for the wash or quickly hand washed with a bit of soap!
Enjoy! 🙂
