
A cheerful little rainbow that you can always carry with you! Quick to whip up, this amigurumi rainbow can be used as a brooch, hair clip, or to embellish other craft projects! The pattern is worked flat, crocheting two identical panels and sewing them together while stuffing a little filling inside!

The Directions
RAINBOW PANEL (make 2)
Using blue, ch 2.
Row 1: Hdc 6 in the second chain from the loop, ch1, turn work.
Row2: sc, fasten off.
Row 3: Using green, 2 hdc in each stitch across, ch1, turn work.
Row 4: sc, fasten off.
Row 5: Using yellow, (2 hdc in the same stitch, hdc) x 6 times (18 sts), ch1, turn work
Row 6: sc, fasten off.
Row 7: Using orange, (2 hdc in the same stitch, hdc 2) x 6 times (24 sts), ch1, turn work
Row 8: sc, fasten off.
Row 9: Using red, (2 hdc in the same stitch, hdc 3) x 6 times (30 sts), ch1, turn work
Row 10: sc
Row 11: sc on the back loop only, fasten off.

Assembly
Take the two rainbow panels and place them together with the wrong sides facing in. Sew the long red edges together using a seamless stitch (e.g., mattress stitch).
Then, sew the shorter multi-coloured sides together, tucking each yarn end into the inside seams (sewing up as you go).
Stuff the inside of your rainbow and sew the blue edges together using the mattress stitch. Sew a 3-hole safety pin on one side of the rainbow and wear with pride!
